Joe Jonas recently spoke with Channel 9 about how he felt working with brother, Nick Jonas as a mentor on this week’s episode of The Voice Australia.
Check out the full interview below:
How does it feel to work with Nick again this week?
It’s been really fun to work with Nick again this week. We get to create a lot of stuff behind the scenes, but to actually get to sit there and encourage and inspire and talk to young artists about what they need to do or what they need to overcome is always a comforting and great feeling.
Have you talked with Nick about #TeamJoe before he came in for mentoring?
I talk to Nick about my team constantly. It’s nice to have him here because he’s really educated on these Artists and how far they’ve come and how hard they’ve worked.
Also, do you keep him in the loop about the show in general?
I keep Nick in the loop about the show, and my team especially, because with anything we do, we want our support and we want to know that we’ve got each other’s backs.
What’s your advice for working with family members?
Look it’s not always easy to work with family. But what we’ve been able to figure out is to have respect for each other and to listen to each other’s ideas. When it comes to being stern about what you want and what you like, what you don’t like, you gotta put your foot down, but do it respectfully.
Do you think Nick would make a good Voice Coach?
I think Nick WOULDN’T make a good Voice Coach, because that means he gets my job!
